About Me2We

Me2We is the flagship annual event for the Stanford community to meet and learn from each other. Me2We is open exclusively to Eligible Participants (as defined later in this document).

Me2We is organized by a committee composed of volunteers from the LEAD Community. A new committee is appointed annually to run each annual event. In 2025, Me2We will take place in March 2025 (“Me2We 2025”). Me2We 2025 will be the 10th annual Me2We event; it will be organized by the Me2We 2025 committee (the “Committee”).

The Committee is running the operations of Me2We under the umbrella of the Me2We non-profit (the “Me2We non-profit”, “we”, “us”, “our”), incorporated in California in September 2024 as a non-profit public benefit corporation. The Me2We non-profit is in the process of seeking 501(c)3 status.

3.1 – General Terms

When purchasing tickets through the Website, the following terms apply:

  • By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria for an Eligible Participant.
  • Tickets are nominative (issued to a specific person), and valid only for that person. An identity check may be required during on-site registration.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.

3.3 – Ticketing

3.3.1 – Number of Tickets

700 tickets will be available for purchase exclusively to Eligible Participants. The Committee may at a future date change the number of tickets available at their discretion.

3.3.2 – Registration dates

Registration for Me2We will take place in two rounds to accommodate the global Stanford LEAD community with different time zones and to offer flexibility for those with scheduling constraints.

The tickets will be released for purchase on two separate registration dates as follows:

  • 500 tickets on November 4, 2024, at 6:00 am Pacific Time (Round 1).
  • 200 tickets on November 14, 2024, at 6:00 pm Pacific Time (Round 2).

Due to space limitations on campus and logistical considerations for in-person attendance, ticket purchase will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached after Round 2, a waitlist will be made available (see Waitlist section).

3.4 – Ticket Limit

When purchasing tickets on the Website, you are limited to purchase one ticket per Eligible Participant.

This policy is in effect to offer a fair opportunity to purchase a ticket to anyone eligible to attend Me2We.

3.5 – Ticket Payment and Pricing

3.5.1 – Ticket Pricing

  • All ticket prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to taxes and other fees, if applicable.

3.5.2 – Payment

  • Payment should generally be made through the payment methods provided on the Website. If these options are not available, please contact the Committee to arrange alternative payment methods.
  • By providing your payment information, you authorize the Me2We non-profit to charge the total amount of the ticket, plus any applicable taxes and fees.

3.6 – Ticket Delivery

Upon registration, an email will be sent to the email address provided during the ticket purchase process. This email confirms that your seat for Me2We is secure.

E-tickets will be issued before the event.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have access to your ticket at the event, whether digitally or as a printed version.

3.7 – Lost or Stolen Tickets

Neither the Committee nor the Me2We non-profit are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets. If your ticket is lost, please contact ask@leadme2we.com. A ticket reissue is not guaranteed.

3.8 – Refunds

All ticket sales are final, unless otherwise stated by the Committee at its discretion.

3.8.1 – Non-Attendance

Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Tickets are non-refundable if the ticket holder does not attend the event for any reason, including illness, travel issues, unforeseen personal commitment or unforeseen personal event. You are encouraged to review your availability before purchasing tickets.

3.8.2 – Event Cancellation or Changes

If the event is canceled, rescheduled, or significantly altered by the Committee, or due to circumstances beyond their control, you will be notified via email. In such cases, the Committee may, at its discretion, offer either a full or partial refund.

3.9 – Waitlist

Following Round 2 of registration, Eligible Participants who were unable to purchase tickets, as well as ticket holders who can no longer attend Me2We, will have the opportunity to join a waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants who join the waitlist are responsible for providing accurate contact information to receive regular updates from the Committee. Further details on the waitlist process will be communicated at a later date by the Committee.

3.9.1 – Active Waitlist

An Active Waitlist exists when there are both Eligible Participants seeking to purchase tickets and ticket holders offering to return their tickets.

3.10 – Transfers

Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by the Committee on a case-by-case basis.

If the Committee permits transfers, they will be processed only if an Active Waitlist exists and only during a designated time period (the “Transfer Window”). Transfer fees may apply.

The Committee reserves full discretion over all aspects of ticket transfers, including timing, eligibility, fees and process; and will make final decisions, with consideration for fairness and event management. Further details on the transfer process will be communicated at a later date by the Committee.

If a Transfer Window opens, it will occur in January 2025 and close on January 31, 2025, at 1:00pm Pacific Time. Therefore, no transfers will be considered after this deadline.

Please note that the opening of a Transfer Window is not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of the Committee. Please note that purchasing a ticket without a confirmed ability to attend is at your own risk, as transfer opportunities are not guaranteed.

4 – Event Policy

4.1 – Access to the Event

Me2We will be accessible exclusively to ticket holders and speakers invited to hold sessions during the event. Speakers who do not hold a ticket for the full 3-day event will only have access to their session, unless otherwise permitted by the Committee at its own discretion. An identity check may be required during on-site registration.
