Speaker Bio

Gideon M. Adogbo is a seasoned expert in innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, and technology with a 25-year career. He founded Multonion, a pioneering company using AI to digitize and connect B2B trade in Africa and globally. As SVP Global Operations and Public Policy at Liviasoft Technologies LLC, he drives technological advancements and public policy across Africa and the USA. Previously, Gideon coordinated Nigeria’s Federal Civil Service reform programme (FCSSIP 2020) for a 1.2 million-strong workforce. He developed the FCSSIP 2025 strategy and led eight teams focused on innovation, digitization, HR automation, capacity building, performance management, cultural transformation, and strategic talent sourcing. He has also served as Special/Technical Assistant to three Cabinet Ministers of Science & Technology, a Minister of Finance, and Head of Nigeria’s Civil Service.

Before public service, he spent 11 years in academia teaching and researching at undergraduate and graduate levels, with publications in renewable energy, bio-fuels, food technology, hydropower, drilling fluids, and plastic-to-fuel conversion. His entrepreneurial ventures span renewable energy, fintech, talent acquisition, and B2B technology.

Dr. Adogbo holds a B.Eng, MSc, and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, an MBA, and a Certificate in Innovation & Technology from MIT, where he is a Visiting Fellow at MIT Sloan. He also trained at Barry University and studied at Harvard, UC Berkeley, Imperial College London, and the London School of Economics.

Outside work, he enjoys music, reading, travel, adventure, movies, and mentoring youth. He is a proud father of three. He continues to inspire innovation and leadership.
